This resort is a 27-unit condominium building called Bear Crossing in Mt. Crested Butte, located along the mountain side and within walking distance of one of the area’s main chair lifts. While recognizing existing sloped site topography, neighboring buildings and an adjacent willows wetland, the building was separated into two four-story towers. The V shaped building layout opens the buildings to allow abundant sun access as well as capturing magnificent vistas down valley for all the residential units in both building towers. The two towers follow the natural slope of the site, incorporating a one-story underground parking garage located at different elevations that step with the site.
